The uniqueness of the design allows one to extract palm tree, shape the root-ball, shrink-wrap or basket the tree, and have it ready for shipping. Palm Tree Spades can be customized with different blade lengths and configurations, to produce exactly the desired rootball. Optional trunk-locks firmly grasp the trunk of the palm-tree, keeping it stationary and upright within the spade.
