CONTROLLERS
In keeping with Dutchman's goal to continually focus on new ways to improve nursery equipment, Dutchman's is proud to have launched a new electronic control system. This system is designed with more durable hardware than ever before to improve the tree spades reliability. The new "Circuit Board" design radically improves any downtime and creates a user-friendly method of repair. It's "double acting" logic of transferring all wires down to 9 wires max also allows for a simple nine wire cable to connect the controls to the spade.
The new circuitry allows the new spade controllers to be connected and disconnected from the tree spade via a nine-wire trailer plug. This user-friendly plug now allows users to keep their spade controller in the loader cab at all times. This increases controller protection and keeps them safe from the elements.

NEW HINGE DESIGN
|
Dutchman's has focused many years on designing and evaluating a new hinge for all of our tree spades. The new hinge has more durability and reliability then ever before and allows for the elimination of the high gate pin. This new gate hinge is a "Finger-Joint" design with precision fit and no previous welding. It is now set up with a single grease plug that contains houses grease far better than ever before and has eliminated the potential for soil to get inside the gate housing, which can prevent the gate from closing snug.

NEW "ROUND" FRAME
|
Dutchman's pride in our inside frame design allowed us to shift attention towards our smaller spade frames. Our goal was to increase the space inside the frame to allow for more clearance and better visibility when centering a tree. The round frame has also allowed the gate cylinder to sit inside the frame and therefore restrict exposure. This frame design is currently available in our 24 and 28 inch models.
